Sidewinder Cycle New Website

New website finally here with a new approach, color and communication. Red is for action and that is what our recumbent bikes provide. Action to get outside and enjoy the sites, sounds and smells of Spring with Summer quickly approaching.

  1. These bikes look intersting, but I'm a bit concerned that under hard braking you'd end up banging the front gears into the ground and at the least lifting up the steering wheel...

  2. Good question Scott.

    We have aligned the design physics of the trike to balance out this effect including seat placement, our seat is adjustable up to 6" laterally. Additionally, how your brakes are adjusted will make a difference with hard braking. Sensitive brakes on any bike, if on the front wheel will toss a rider. Rider experience plays a role in braking as well. If the trike does tip forward under hard braking we have a front chain ring guard that is made of steal that also doubles as a handle when transporting and for dismounting the trike.
